Seventeen years ago, I embarked on a journey in the software industry, a world far removed from the rustic charm of my hometown in the Konkan region. Today, I proudly serve as an Associate Manager at Accenture Technology, but the road to this position was anything but smooth.
Imagine a young man from Kankavli, Sindhudurg, stepping into the bustling city of Pune, filled with self-doubt and a resume that didn't scream "tech-savvy". The year was 2003, a challenging period marked by a recession. Job hunting felt like an endless maze, and my confidence was at an all-time low.
However, destiny had its plans. During a visit to my uncle, Mr. Ajit Rane's home in Pune, I was introduced to the teachings of Satguru Shri Wamanrao Pai. Their book, "You are the Sculptor of Your Life," opened my eyes to the power of the conscious and subconscious mind. It was a revelation, a guide to navigating life's challenges.
The real game-changer was meeting Mr. Subhash Kelkar, then a Senior Manager at Tech Mahindra. His casual yet insightful questions about the tech world made me realize my gaps. But instead of dismissing me, he introduced me to a foundational course, even generously covering the costs. This act of kindness was my first introduction to the principles of Jeevanvidya.
With newfound knowledge and a heart full of gratitude, I began to see changes. I landed my first job in Mumbai and soon found myself climbing the corporate ladder, working with giants like Infosys, IBM, and now, Accenture. Today, I'm immersed in cutting-edge fields like AI, data science, NLP, and machine learning.
Jeevanvidya has been more than just a philosophy; it's been a guiding light. From finding love with my wife, Priya, to surviving accidents, I attribute my blessings to the teachings of Satguru and Dada. Their emphasis on "merit" resonates deeply with me. It's this inner merit, accumulated through prayer and gratitude, that has been my compass during life's significant decisions.
I've been fortunate to learn from stalwarts like Mr. Kelkar, Mr. Chandrakant Nimbalkar, and Mr. Santosh Totre. Their teachings, coupled with the resources from the Jeevanvidya Mission's YouTube channel and webinars, have enriched my life.
